Spicy tuna volcano

This is one of my favorite easy and yummy recipe from my friend. The Japanese store near my place sells chopped tuna with green onion, so that makes my life much easier too! If your store does not have chopped tuna, you can use food processor to chop the tuna. Mix it with japanese mayonnaise and spicy sauce of your choice. I sometimes use either Sambal ABC or Sriracha, depending what I currently have.

the mix

I cheated and used frozen onigiri that I bought in Japanese market. Traders Joe used to sell one for cheap($2.99 I think), but I could not find it anymore. The one in Japanese market is way more expensive($6.99). For the one I bought in Traders Joe, I usually heat it up in the pan with some butter. But the one from Japanese market is too soft and the rice breaks down if I heat it in the pan, so I use microwave for those. Once that's done, put your spicy tuna mix on top of the onigiri and dinner is ready to be served!

end product *yumm*
