I've Got Your Number

I've been a huge fan of Sophie Kinsella's book ever since the shopaholic series, but I've been let down by a couple of her last 2 books. I was so happy when I found out that she's having a new book release on Feb. I told RV about it and he pre-ordered it for me. It came right on Valentine's day. Last night, I read it straight for almost 7 hours and finished it. I love it! I'm a helpless romantic and I love reading chic flick. The ending of the book is pretty predictable, but I love the story in between.

*****SPOILER ALERT*****
This contains some spoilers. To prevent those of you who wants the surprise accidentally read this, I've made it in similar color as background, so you will have to highlight it to read it!

The main character is Sam and Poppy. Sam is the typical serious successful businessman who's always busy and always on the job. Poppy is a physiotherapist who's witty and fun. They met 10 days before her wedding, all because she lost her ring and she found his PA's phone on the trash bin. Don't you think it's meant to be? :) I knew from beginning that Poppy and Sam would be together in the end, but I wasn't expecting Magnus to be such a jerk. And I thought the 2nd time Magnus proposed was for real and I was bought by the idea that he bought the ring himself. Oh well, now don't you want to read the book after hearing all I have to say? Please share your favorite chick flick authors if you have one! I always try to find a new book to read!

Julep Taylor w/o top coat

Essie Shine of the Times over Julep Taylor

Julep Taylor is gorgeous by itself, but combined with Essie Shine of the Times, it's over the top pretty! I'm in love with Essie Shine of the Times from Essie Luxeffects collection. The glitter is unique. It's different from any other glitter I've seen and the color changes depending on lights. It would probably look better if I use a darker shade polish as a base, but I'm still in love <3
